Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable” condition after his involvement in a weather-related incident involving a snow plow, a spokesperson confirmed today.
First responders coordinated to get the 51-year old airlifted off of his Nevada property and to a local hospital. While there are no reports of the extent of his injuries, his spokesperson added that Renner is around his family and “receiving excellent care.”

Public information officer Kristin Vietti said officers responded to a call for a “traumatic injury” and that Renner was the only one involved in the incident. An investigation is currently underway looking into the details of the accident.
Monday evening a spokesperson for Renner shared that the star had suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” after the accident that took place on New Years Day. So far, Renner has undergone two surgeries and remains in intensive care.
Jeremy’s family acknowledged the public, releasing a statement via a spokesperson. “Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.” The statement also adds that the family is “tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
Jeremy Renner is best known for his portrayal of ‘Hawkeye’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but has also starred in projects such as ‘The Hurt Locker’, ‘American Hustle’, and ‘The Town’. Currently, Renner is starring in ‘The Mayor of Kingstown’ on Paramount+.
