I’m tired, but I’m here

I began to realize I've walked this earth for 32 years, trying not to exist, making myself smaller so my presence didn't affect those around me. Then three women sitting in a cozy living room, each one knitting/crocheting something warm, changed everything. I didn't know it yet, but I was about to feel the hug I'd been waiting a decade for.

Hope for the holidays?

I’ve been thinking about the farm a great deal lately. If you’re an avid reader, you know I talk about that place a lot, but it was so formative to my being that it’s hard not to. I spent a quarter of a century on that dirt, connecting with the earth and my identity in a way I’ve never experienced anywhere else, and this was one of my favorite times of the year to live there.
