Buffalo Bills safety Damar falls injured

Injury puts a pause on Bills vs. Bengals game

1 min read

During Monday’s football game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, 24-year-old Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed after tackling wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Medical staff assisted Damar while fellow Bills players stuck by his side, comforting each other as AED and CPR were being performed on the player. Eventually, Damar was set on a stretcher, given oxygen, then placed in an ambulance that left at 9:25 PM.

As a result, the remainder of the Bills-Bengals game was canceled Monday night. It is unclear whether the game will be continued at another time or not.

This is a developing story.
