I’m not a fantasy reader. I never really have been, and no matter how hard I try, I can never get into it. So, I figured if anything was going to get me into fantasy, it would be Fourth Wing.

And I was right.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I devoured this book. I absolutely loved it. I was constantly invested and wanted to know what happened next, wanting to know how Violet was going to get through another day. I loved every second.

I listened to the Graphic audio and am so glad I did. Hearing all the different voices really brought me into it. I’m planning on physically reading the next two, and it’ll be strange not to hear their voices.

I was bummed thinking there was going to be a love triangle early in because I loved Dain, but I figured she would end up with Xaden. Boy, did that change! Dain is the worst, and I’m in love with Xaden. I love their connection to each other and their dragons and everything about them.

Liam, why!? Apart from Violet and Xaden, Liam was hands down my favorite character. I didn’t expect to lose him so soon, and it broke me.
