Last week, DC provided fans at WonderCon with first looks at “Wonder Woman,” “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” “Unstoppable Doom Patrol” and more.

Today’s attendees at MegaCon were similarly treated to exclusive reveals from some of the biggest names in comics, including Geoff Johns, Joshua Williamson, Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Simone Di Meo, and Mitch Gerads.

MegaCon attendees were the first to see a brand-new Dawn of DC trailer featuring artwork from legendary artist Jeff Spokes. The new trailer will be appearing during episodes of “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Rampage” on TNT in May, as well as on HBO Max.

After “Batman vs. Robin” and “Lazarus Planet,” Bruce and Damian Wayne are back together again, investigating mysterious new cases and monsters in Gotham in “Batman and Robin!” Launching this September, “Batman and Robin” is from writer Joshua Williamson and artist Simone Di Meo, and fans got a first look at the first issue’s cover, interior artwork, and designs for a Robin Mobile, all crafted by Di Meo.

The landmark 800th issue of “The Flash” arrives in stores on June 6 with stories from legendary Flash scribes Mark Waid (“Batman/Superman: World’s Finest”), Geoff Johns, Joshua Williamson, and Jeremy Adams (“The Flash”), each contributing a story to this oversize issue.

Today at MegaCon, Johns revealed five never-before-seen pages by Scott Kolins (“The Flash”) showing Hunter Zolomon, a.k.a. Zoom. Williamson also shared that his story will focus on Barry Allen and Iris West’s relationship and that preview artwork will be released soon.

With two Superman writers in the room, it was only fitting to give a sneak peek at the next issues of “Superman” and “Action Comics.” Williamson shared a first look at “Superman” no.3, including a new costume for Superman.

Phillip Kennedy Johnson also shared a preview of his main story in Action Comics no.1054 as well as a first look at a variant cover from Mirko Colak (“Aquaman”) for his upcoming “Green Lantern: War Journal,” launching in September. Comics readers will first see John Stewart in the backup to “Green Lantern” from Jeremy Adams and Xermánico, on sale on May 9.

Johns also provided a first look at “Justice Society of America” no.4, showing Helena Wayne’s journey through time! Fans will want to be on the lookout for “Justice Society of America” no.6 as the New Golden Age and Dawn of DC will converge for the first time. Johns also teased that there will be more stories from the New Golden Age.

Eisner Award-winning artist Mitch Gerads discussed the story he and Tom King are working on in “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” coming to comics shops on May 16. “Batman: The Brave and the Bold” features a horrifying four-part retelling of the first bloody clash between The Joker and the Batman. A tale of loathing, lies, and laughter, this may be the most frightening Joker story in a generation.
