Kasey's Korner

@dailyplanetdc

In this Kasey’s Korner Kasey talks about Rosie the Riveter fighting for gender equality in all aspects. A long-overdue Congressional Gold Medal will be presented to the women who worked in factories during World War II and inspired "Rosie the Riveter.” One of the original Rosie the Riveters, Mae Krier, will be awarded the Congressional Gold Medal on behalf of all the Rosies for their contributions during World War ll. She’s been fighting for women’s rights since. Krier will stand before congress almost a century later on April 10, 2024 on behalf of all the Rosie the Riveters — and all women — everywhere.
