BLOOMINGTON — Livability, which stands a s a resource for people looking for future home cities, has listed Bloomington as “an enduring and remarkable community where people want to be.”
The organization recently published its Top 100 Best Places to Live in the US list and, for the second year in a row, Bloomington cracked the top 25. Three other cities from Minnesota made the list, including Rochester, Duluth and St. Paul. Bloomington achieved the highest ranking among the four Minnesota cities.
The article called Bloomington a vibrant community with great schools and a good balance of city convenience and natural beauty. Livability also cited the city’s strong economy, low crime rate, top-notch schools, outdoor activities and health care facilities as contributors to Bloomington residents’ high-quality, well-rounded lifestyle.
Livability looked at cities with populations between 75,000-500,000 with a median home value of less than $500,000.
