Ariana Grande will be a Coach on season 21 of NBC’s The Voice

On March 30, 2021, singer and actress Ariana Grande announced she will replace Nick Jonas next season and will join current judges Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Sheldon. 

Grande announced the news on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. 

Current coaches reacted to the news such as Kelly Clarkson.

John Legend and Blake Sheldon also congratulated her with even Nick Jonas congratulating her.

According to Variety, in a separate statement through NBCU, Grande said, “I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists, and help take their craft to the next level.” 

Grande has been a fan of The Voice for a long time because @NBCTheVoice posted a tweet Grande tweeted on May 3, 2011.

Many fans were excited as one Twitter user wrote,

Before this news, recently Grande won her second Grammy award for Best Pop/Duo/Group performance with Lady Gaga for “Rain on Me,” and released her Positions deluxe album on Feb.19, 2021, with new song additions including Someone Like U(interlude), Test Drive, 34+35 remix (feat Doja Cat & Megan Thee Stallion), Worst Behavior, and Main Thing. Grande has also sustained relevance on the charts with 34+35 and Positions on the Billboard 100 charts since the song’s release in 2020.

Ariana Grande will start a new chapter as a new coach on season 21 of The Voice premiering on Sept.20, 2021.
