Fans no longer have to wait for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” to leave theaters before watching it again.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” was a massive box-office success before making its way home. The film earned roughly $2.5 billion worldwide, including more than $952 million in North America and about $1.54 billion internationally. Its $360.1 million domestic opening weekend helped put the latest Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film among the biggest theatrical hits of 2026.
Sony Pictures released the Tom Holland-led Marvel film on digital Tuesday, Oct. 6. It is available to buy or rent through Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango and Sony Pictures Core.
The digital release comes a little more than two months after “Brand New Day” opened in theaters July 31. On Prime Video, the movie is listed at $29.99 to purchase or $24.99 to rent.

But digital availability does not mean the movie is included with a streaming subscription yet.
There is currently no announced date for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” to arrive on Netflix or Disney+. Sony’s deal with Netflix gives the service the first U.S. subscription-streaming window for Sony’s theatrical films, including its Marvel movies. That means Netflix is expected to be the first subscription service to carry “Brand New Day,” although Sony and Netflix have not announced a date.

Current estimates put the Netflix release sometime between late 2026 and early 2027. Those estimates are not an official release date. Disney+ is expected to get the movie after its Netflix window, but Sony and Disney also have not announced a date.
For collectors, the physical release is already locked in. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD Dec. 15. Sony is also offering limited SteelBook editions, including a collector’s edition with additional memorabilia and a comic book.

The film stars Holland as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo. Destin Daniel Cretton directed the film.
For now, watching at home means buying or renting the movie digitally. Those waiting for a subscription service will have to hold out a little longer.
