President-elect Biden’s transition team announced that they received a briefing from senior officials at the FBI, Secret Service and members of his national security team on Wednesday.

The transition team said they are engaging with the current administration on “the preparations being put in place to deter and defend against violent disruptions or attacks.” There was no indication of changes to the inauguration plans and the Biden team will have daily briefings on preparations going forward.
