DC is bringing an expanded footprint to Comic-Con International: San Diego this year, with the publisher detailing both its booth activations and a full creator signing schedule in a pair of announcements posted to dc.com this month. The convention floor opens Wednesday, July 22, and runs through Sunday, July 26, but DC Booth #4544’s full slate of interactive programming, signings and giveaways begins Thursday, July 23.
DC Booth #4544 opens on the convention floor Wednesday, July 22, and runs through Sunday, July 26, continuing the publisher’s annual decade-by-decade celebration of its publishing history. This year’s theme spotlights the 1950s, an era that introduced Barry Allen in “Showcase” No. 4, debuted Supergirl in “Action Comics” No. 252, and reimagined Green Lantern as Hal Jordan.
As part of that theme, the booth includes a 1950s-inspired Daily Planet newsstand where attendees can pick up a free facsimile of “MAD Magazine” No. 1, complete with a blank Daily Planet back cover designed for creator signatures. DC is also marking the satirical magazine’s 1952 debut under original editor Harvey Kurtzman.
The booth features collaborations with Warner Bros. Games for “LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight,” along with Upper Deck, Shoe Palace, eBay, the U.S. Mint and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, which is bringing a “Superman Experience” photo activation tied to its Burbank studio lot tour. Guests there can pose with Superman and Krypto and receive a copy of a custom “Superman Experience” No. 1 comic written by Josh Trujillo.

DC is also partnering again with Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines, whose sponsored litter of future service dogs, named Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Kara Zor-El, Krypto and Lobo, will make its first full-litter SDCC appearance this year, with meet-and-greets scheduled Saturday and Sunday.
Convention exclusives on sale at the booth include limited foil covers for “Absolute Catwoman” No. 1, “Absolute Green Arrow” No. 1, “Absolute Batman” No. 1, “Absolute Superman” No. 1, “Absolute Wonder Woman” No. 1 and several other titles, along with convention-exclusive editions of recent Absolute Universe and Batman collections.
Panel programming includes a Thursday “Jim Lee and Friends” session hosted by the DC president, publisher and chief creative officer, along with a “Batman: Caped Crusader” Season 2 premiere screening and Q&A ahead of the series’ July 31 debut on Prime Video. Later panels cover DC’s Gotham City line, the Next Level publishing initiative, “My Adventures with Superman” Season 3, the “Batman: Knightfall Part 1” animated adaptation, and the Metropolis and Absolute Universe publishing lines.
In a follow-up announcement published July 20, DC detailed its full booth signing schedule. Confirmed appearances include Jim Lee, Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Mark Waid, G. Willow Wilson, Matt Fraction, Joshua Williamson and Tom Taylor, alongside dozens of other writers and artists across the weekend.
Thursday’s signings include the cast and creators of “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,” including Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, along with a block of “DC Universe” talent featuring Stephanie Williams, Belén Ortega and Nicole Maines. Friday’s schedule adds Rafael Grampá, AEW wrestlers Orange Cassidy and Swerve Strickland, and a Bill Sienkiewicz signing tied to his eBay-exclusive “Absolute Batman” and “Absolute Catwoman” connecting covers.
Saturday features Jim Lee alongside “Batman: Hush” collaborators Jeph Loeb, Alex Sinclair and Scott Williams, plus an exclusive Frank Cho signing for a glow-in-the-dark “Absolute Martian Manhunter” No. 1 variant reserved for DC Universe Infinite Ultra members. Sunday closes the weekend with Guide Dogs of America appearances, a Shoe Palace signing from Nick Dragotta, and a session with Brandon Snider and Yancey Labat.
DC noted that select signings will require wristbands, obtainable through SDCC’s Online Exclusives Portal, and that the full schedule remains subject to updates via dc.com and the @DCOfficial social accounts.
