DC announced Tuesday that “Absolute Catwoman” no.1 will return to press for a second printing before the issue’s official debut, making it the latest title in the publisher’s Absolute Universe line to receive an early reprint.

The first printing of “Absolute Catwoman” no.1 arrives in comic shops on June 10, while the second printing is scheduled to reach retailers on July 15. The new printing will feature a recolored version of Bengal’s main cover, along with open-order variant covers by Guillem March and Kaare Andrews.

Written by Che Grayson and Scott Snyder with artwork by Bengal, the six-issue miniseries follows Selina Kyle as a highly skilled thief whose carefully constructed life begins to unravel when a figure from her past reappears. The story takes Catwoman across the globe and deeper into the mysteries of DC’s Absolute Universe.

The announcement continues a trend for the Absolute line, which has seen multiple titles receive additional printings amid strong demand. Earlier this year, “Absolute Green Arrow” no.1 also returned to press before publication.

DC also revealed “Absolute Cassandra Cain: The Shadow’s Hand” no.1, a one-shot that will spin out of the events of “Absolute Catwoman.” The special, written by Grayson with artwork by Matias Bergara, is scheduled for release Sept. 9 and will explore the origins of Cassandra Cain within the Absolute Universe.

According to DC, the one-shot will be published between issues no.3 and no.4 of “Absolute Catwoman,” with the main series resuming in October.

“Absolute Catwoman” no.1 goes on sale June 10 for $4.99. The second printing arrives on July 15.
