Biden to speak with European leaders to discuss Russia-Ukraine tensions

President Biden is set to speak with European leaders to discuss rising concerns over Russia-Ukraine tensions.

President Joe Biden will speak with European leaders on Monday to discuss the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, including Russia’s military buildup on Ukraine’s borders, the White House said.

This comes after the US ordered the relatives of its embassy staff to leave Ukraine, citing fears a Russian invasion could come “at any time.”

UK officials also announced that about half of its embassy staff working in Kyiv will return to the UK. Russia has denied it is planning an invasion, despite massing troops along the border and seizing Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.
