The Pokémon Company released a new Pokémon Presents video presentation on Wednesday morning, showcasing the latest news on new Pokémon games coming to the Nintendo Switch including “Pokémon Brilliant Diamond,” “Shining Pearl” and “Pokémon Legends: Arceus.”

The upcoming remakes will feature the return of Pokémon Super Contests, where trainers and their Pokémon will show off their moves and appearances.

Another classic feature making a return to the remakes is the ability for Pokemon trainers to explore the Sinnoh Region’s Underground network but the underground will be slightly different than how it was in the original games.

According to the game’s website, players will use the Explorer Kit that will be given during their adventures to the “Grand Underground, where you can participate in activities such as digging up valuable treasures and Pokémon Fossils, or creating your own Secret Base. You can also visit places called Pokémon Hideaways, where you can find Pokémon that live in a variety of different environments.”

Pokémon Hideaways is a newly introduced feature to the Sinnoh’s Grand Underground. It comes with a number of different areas starting from still-water caverns to volcanic landscapes, housing different Pokémon residing in different caverns. Some Pokémon will only be available in the caverns alongside with the inhabitants of the Sinnoh Region.

Players will be able to customize their trainer’s outfits. Previous Pokémon  games that allowed trainer customization included Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and the Sword and Shield games.

The remakes’ launch will coincide with the release of a new Nintendo Switch Lite console, featuring Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

Pokémon Legends Arceus takes place in the Hisui Region, a precursor to what will transform into the Sinnoh Region.

In Pokemon Legends, players will join the Galaxy Expedition Team, or Galaxy Team for short and will be given a mission to travel around the region and meet every species of Pokémon from all over the Hisui Region in an effort tot complete the region’s first ever Pokédex.
