The movie’s teaser reveals a star-studded cast of actors, such as Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Reeves, Hart and Dwayne Johnson. Johnson is playing Krypto the Superdog: Superman’s best friend and loyal pet.
Hart is voicing “Ace the Bathound,” Batman’s canine crime-fighting partner. His first appearance was in “Batman #92 (June 1955).” He teamed up with Batman after his master was attacked by counterfeits.

Krypto the Superdog originated from Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster’s Superman runs. On the other hand, Ace the Bathound debuted in Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff’s Batman series.
The film’s existence was first announced in July 2018 with Jared Stern to write and direct the movie. He’s worked on both “The Lego Batman Movie” and “The Lego Ninjago Movie.” His past work includes “Bolt,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” and “The Princess and the Frog.” Sam Levine is co-directing.
Patrick Hicks, Johnson’s Seven Bucks, Stern, Danny Garcia and Hiram Garcia are producing the film. John Requa, Glenn Ficarra and Nicholas Stoller are executive producing.
Starring Johnson, Hart, Reeves, Mckinnon, Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne and Diego Luna, “DC League of Super-Pets” will reportedly arrive in theaters on May 20, 2022.
