The METRO Gold Line — the state’s first bus rapid transit line to operate primarily within bus-only lanes — will open on March 22, 2025, project leaders have announced. The new line will connect Woodbury to downtown Saint Paul.
MoreSAINT PAUL — Just before 1 AM, multiple 911 callers reported shots fired near Lafond Avenue and Grotto Street North. The 911 callers then said that someone was shot, and many people were driving away from the chaotic scene. When officers arrived, they did not locate a victim in the area.
SAINT PAUL — Just after 2 PM, Saint Paul police officers were called on a report that a person had shot themself in an apartment on the 1900 block of Marshall Avenue. Officers arrived and located the adult male victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
OAKDALE — Motorists will encounter a long-term eastbound lane closure on Interstate 94 between Oakdale and Woodbury starting April 4 when the Minnesota Department of Transportation resumes construction between Highway 120/Century Avenue and the St. Croix River.
