City facilities to participate in Doors Open Minneapolis

Several City facilities are participating in Doors Open Minneapolis May 13-14. Doors Open Minneapolis is a free and unique way to explore the City, giving behind the scenes looks into some of the Minneapolis’ most iconic landmarks.

City locations are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise noted below.

The following City facilities will be participating this year

East Side Maintenance Facility

Fire Station No. 1

Manhole entrance/Public Works
Approximately at 520 Nicollet Mall


Minneapolis Animal Care and Control
212 17th Ave. N.
Open for adoptions 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday


Minneapolis City Hall
350 S. 5th St. 


Public Service Center
505 4th Avenue S.
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday only
