The Minnesota Twins announced that they have recalled outfielder Trevor Larnach from Triple-A Saint Paul.

Larnach has played in three games on rehab assignment with Low-A Fort Myers, going 2-for-11 with one double, two walks, three RBI and two runs scored for the Mighty Mussels. Larnach began the season on Saint Paul’s seven-day Injured List with turf toe (right great toe).

To make room for Larnach on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned outfielder Matt Wallner to St. Paul. Wallner went 2-for-25 (.080) with one double, one home run, four RBI, four hit-by-pitches, three walks and 17 strikeouts in 13 games for the Twins this season.
