1 min read

James Gunn has found his Lois and Clark. The co-head of DC Studios confirmed reported rumors yesterday afternoon that David Corenswet (Netflix’s “The Politician” and “Hollywood”) and Rachel Brosnahan (Amazon Prime’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) both landed the titular roles for his upcoming Cinematic Universe launcher “Superman: Legacy,” which is set to premiere in 2025.

The news follows after rumors of possible test screenings took place in Hollywood last weekend. Reactions were mixed after the castings were officially announced with some campaigning for Henry Cavill’s return to the role.

Deadline reported that the next roles to be cast and announced will be Jimmy Olsen and Lex Luthor.
