Mia to open early on Black Friday

MINNEAPOLIS— This Black Friday, skip the malls and spend the day at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia). Mia will open early at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, with free admission to the special exhibition “Botticelli and Renaissance Florence” from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., free coffee and pastries, and promotions at The Store at Mia. 

Free admission to “Botticelli and Renaissance Florence” is first-come, first-served, and capacity is limited. Advance registration is not required. Only the Target Galleries and the Store at Mia will be open early. The remainder of the museum will open at 10 a.m. as normal.

Visitors will enjoy special offers at The Store at Mia all day on Black Friday. The Store at Mia is the perfect place for holiday shopping, with design-driven gifts and exclusive merchandise inspired by Sandro Botticelli and the Italian Renaissance. Every purchase supports the museum.
