‘Pennyworth’ now streaming on HBO Max

Seasons one and two of “Pennyworth,” the origin story for Batman’s Alfred Pennyworth, are now available to stream on HBO Max.

This DC origin story follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne, who’s not yet Bruce’s billionaire father.

“Pennyworth” originally began airing July 28, 2019 on Epix. It stars stars Jack Bannon as Alfred Pennyworth alongside Ben Aldridge, Emma Paetz, Ryan Fletcher, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett, Paloma Faith, Polly Walker and Jason Flemyng. The series is executive produced by Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon.
