President Joe Biden announced plans to offer free masks and purchase 500 million more COVID-19 tests Thursday.

President Biden announced Thursday that his administration will buy another 500 million at-home COVID-19 tests for Americans, in addition to the 500 million already being acquired.

He added that a website will launch next week so Americans can order the free tests. Biden later announced that the White House will make masks available for free with details also arriving next week.

The administration will also announce next week how it’s making high-quality masks available for free, Biden said. Biden continued to plea with Americans to get vaccinated and wear their masks properly.

He concluded his remarks by making an appeal to social media websites to continue monitoring ‘misinformation and disinformation.’
