Alec Baldwin gives his first interview since the fatal on-set shooting

ABC airs Alec Balwin’s first public interview on Thursday since a fatal shooting on the set of his film Rust six weeks ago.

In the pre-recorded interview, Baldwin said he did not pull the trigger of the prop gun, which contained live bullets and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza, Reuters reports.

Authorities in New Mexico are still investigating the incident.
