Grammys postponed due to surge in COVID-19 cases in LA

1 min read

The 2021 Grammy Awards has officially been pushed from its original date of January 31 to March 14. The Recording Academy said the decision was made following “thoughtful conversations with health experts” due to “the deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles.”

The new date clashes with the Screen Actors Guild Awards, leading some to speculate that another announcement is imminent.
