The campaign requesting a new movie (or movies) starring Henry Cavill as the lead continues to prepare for their Jan. 7, 2020 event –– #HenryCavillSuperman. It has been nearly eight years since the last solo Superman movie starring Henry Cavill premiered and fans are demanding more.
Marvin Brito, a journalism student from Brazil, and Steven Marshall, a bank administrator and podcaster from Leeds England, spearheaded the “we want a new Superman movie” campaign earlier this year, getting world wide recognition in the process.
The campaign organizers, along with UK blogger and podcast host Luke “The Geek of Steel” Bugg, announced that their will also be a “Man of Steel” watch party correlating with their Jan. 7 event.
2013’s “Man of Steel” blockbuster featured Henry’s debut as Superman and was the introductory piece for Warner Bros. DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Since it’s premiere, nine consecutive movies followed with “Wonder Woman 1984” being the latest installment.
The acompanying “Man of Steel” watch along on the 7th is being organised by Bugg.
The #HenryCavillSuperman campaign will commence their second day of pushing Jan. 7, 2021. They ask that all Henry Cavill / Superman fans partake and follow the guidelines bellow.
