It’s “Smallville’s” cave era and former costars Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum were not there for it. In the latest episode of their rewatch podcast the former Clark Kent and Lex Luthor discuss the tenth second season episode of the young Superman series.

Some of the topics discussed included Annette O’Toole’s (Martha Kent) continuous indelible performance on the series, Tom’s work with the wolf on set, the incredulous nature for some of the plot points in this episode, how “Smallville” played with Lionel’s (John Glover) blindness, and so much more.

Welcome to Smallville’s ‘cave era’ … this week Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum review Season 2 Episode 10: SKINWALKER! After talking about how this is probably the unanimous decision for worst set to work on during the series, the guys get some insight from Al Gough on how important this cave plotline is to the vision of Season 2 and origin story of Clark Kent. Tom remembers working with Tamara Feldman (as Kyla Willowbrook) and how intimidating the wolf was on set. Michael talks about the curse that is ‘knowing Clark’s secret’ while also giving props to another killer performance from Annette O’Toole.
