Actress Farrah Forke has passed away Feb. 25 at her Texas home after a private battle with cancer at the age of 54.
Forke is known to the DC fandom as Mayson Drake from “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and Big Barda from the DC Animated Universe’s “Batman Beyond” and “Justice League Unlimited.
Forke was a familiar face, and voice, during the 90s and early 2000s, staring in the NBC sitcom “Wings,’ which was set on a Nantucket airfield and ran for eight seasons from 1990-97. She played helicopter pilot Alex Lambert in seasons four through six and her character found herself ensnared in a complex love triangle between the show’s brothers Joe (Tim Daly) and Brian Hackett (Steven Weber).

Daly and Forke both played the roles of Superman and Big Barda, respectively, on the DC Animated Universe show “Justice League Unlimited” in the early 2000s.
Forke also famously played Clark’s season two love interest, Mayson Drake, a tough and compassionate Metropolis District Attorney, opposite Superman (Dean Cain) and Lois Lane (Terri Hatcher) on the show “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.”
Forke was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on Jan. 12, 1968. The actress took a break from acting and lived in Houston, Texas, where she raised her twin sons, while making occasional appearances at comic conventions.
