US Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer to retire

After 27 years on the court, Justice Stephen Breyer plans to retire at the end of of the current term, according to multiple reports.

His retirement would provide an opportunity for President Biden to nominate a new Supreme Court justice.

Breyer is one of three liberal justices currently serving and the oldest member of the court at age 83.
