CNN announced on Saturday that anchor Chris Cuomo has been “terminated” following an investigation into exactly how Cuomo aided his brother, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, when the then-governor was accused of sexual harassment.
“We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately,” the statement said.
The network added that despite the termination, it will continue to review the matter after additional information became available.
