CDC approves Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11

Center for Disease Control (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky endorsed on Tuesday the recommendations from a panel of advisors that voted unanimously to recommend Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine shots for the approximately 28 million children in this age group.

As a result, children could begin getting their jabs within the next several days.
