‘Laila Majnu:’ The quintessential poem of love

I’ve been a fan of Imtiaz Ali before Tamasha got cult status. If there’s one thing about his stories, it is that he loves mountains, and even more so, he loves stories, and “Laila Majnu” might be his favorite. “Laila Majnu,” directed by Sajid Ali and presented by Imtiaz Ali, is a new sensation in India, but guess what? This movie came out six years ago, and like Imtiaz’s previous films, this one is now getting the love it deserves.

‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ — A noir-mystery thriller

Over 30 years have passed since “Batman: The Animated Series,” now Batman is again back in the realm of animation, once again under the creative guidance of Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams, with the newly released “Batman: Caped Crusader,” which just released on Amazon Prime, with a total season drop consisting of a ten-episode living graphic novel that resides in the beauty of a noir-mystery thriller, centered around the psychosis of the Dark Knight, as he attempts to make an impact on a city corrupted by the value of regret, only in week two, of the vow.

‘Shunya’— A poetic gem

We are too young to understand certain things in life, but even as adults, we find it difficult to explain the simplest and most mundane things when asked by others, especially our children. This is mainly because we know the meaning of things by observation and not by definition. It’s like saying, “Sugar is sweet.” But what exactly is sweet? This idea is beautifully portrayed in “Shunya.”
