Minnesota United face Detroit City FC in third round of US Open


Minnesota United announced that the club will face Detroit City FC of the USL Championship in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, April 25 at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, Michigan. Kick is set for 6:30 p.m. CT, and will be streamed live for free on the Bleacher Report (B/R) app and B/R Football YouTube channel.

Minnesota Vikings finalize 2023 coaching staff


The Vikings on Tuesday announced the 2023 coaching staff has been finalized with the addition of the following five coaches: Imarjaye Albury as Defensive Assistant, Thad Bogardus as Assistant Inside Linebackers, Dalmin Gibson as Assistant Special Teams, Pat Hill as Assistant Defensive Line and Michael Hutchings as Assistant Defensive Backs.

Vikings release Eric Kendricks ahead of 2023 Free Agency

The Vikings on Monday terminated the contract of Eric Kendricks — a mainstay in the middle of Minnesota’s defense for eight seasons, a 2019 First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowler, champion for social justice and the 2020 Vikings Community Man of the Year.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar falls injured


During Monday’s football game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, 24-year-old Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed after tackling wide receiver Tee Higgins. Medical staff assisted Damar while fellow Bills players stuck by his side, comforting each other as AED and CPR were being performed on the player. Eventually, Damar was set on a stretcher, given oxygen, then placed in an ambulance that left at 9:25 PM. As a result, the remainder of the Bills-Bengals game was canceled Monday night.
