Can anyone else believe I’ve gone 13 years without getting spoiled? That being said, major spoiler ahead. First, the non-spoiler thoughts.

I feel so bad for these kids. They keep almost getting better circumstances, and then, just kidding, it’s pulled away from them. Because of that, this book did kind of feel like more of the same.

Okay, spoiler time. Look away now.

Tris dies!? I’m sorry!? Wild. Absolutely wild. And unexpected. Honestly, I assumed we’d find out her mom was still alive—also a no. And you know what? I don’t like it. Give me the ending I can tie up in a bow, please.
