Henry Cavill, widely recognized for his role as Superman, has recently become a father.
The 41-year-old actor and his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, welcomed their first child together. The couple, who have been dating since 2021, were seen pushing a baby stroller in Australia, where Cavill is filming the upcoming sci-fi movie “Voltron.”
In April 2024, Cavill expressed his excitement about becoming a dad at the premiere of “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” in New York City. “I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both thrilled. I’m sure you’ll hear much more about it,” he told Access Hollywood.
Cavill also took to Instagram on Father’s Day to ask for parenting tips, sharing a photo of a baby crib and writing, “Oh yeah… and Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there. Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips? And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scalpels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures. #FathersDay.”
The couple has kept details about their baby, including the child’s name, sex, and birthdate, private for now. However, Cavill expressed his gratitude and excitement, saying, “Thank you,” when told he would make a great father.
Cavill and Viscuso first went public with their relationship in April 2021, when they posed for a photo while playing chess. “Just teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess…or…maybe he let me win?” Viscuso captioned the post.
The new parents have been seen enjoying their time together, with Cavill sharing that they love having kitchen dance parties. “We’re not shy of a kitchen dance party, I’ll tell you that much. A bottle of wine goes down range,” he told E! News.
