Liam Payne, a former member of One Direction, died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. He was 31 years old. The incident happened at a hotel on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood, according to a police statement.
Payne leaves behind a son, born in 2017, with Cheryl Cole, a former member of Girls Aloud.
One Direction, which included Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, formed in 2010 on “The X Factor” and went on hiatus in 2015. Payne released his debut solo album “LP1” in 2019 and his LP “Teardrops” in March.
