Host Anthony Desiato and guest Zach Moore (Always Hold On To Smallville) dig into one of the most obscure pieces of Superman media: the unaired 1961 television pilot for THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY, written & produced by Whitney Ellsworth and starring Johnny Rockwell in the title role.

Anthony and Zach discuss the history and production of the pilot, which would have extended Superman’s presence on screen following George Reeves’ death and the end of Adventures of Superman. They also discuss the pilot, “Raja’s Ransom,” in depth and share storylines from the 12 unfilmed scripts. “A Superboy Fan Journey:” Chapter III.
