Minnesota United FC today announced a partnership extension with SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform. “SeatGeek’s modern technology and philosophy of continuous innovation were key reasons for the club’s extension choice,” they said in a statement.
Throughout its seven-year partnership, SeatGeek introduced innovations like Unify — its modern web-based box office solution for creating and managing inventory — as well as Rally — its personalized fan engagement platform within the SeatGeek app that lets clients build fan-friendly features that transform the live event ticket.
“Aligning with a company like SeatGeek, whose ethos resonates with our commitment to our fans, has been pivotal,” added Minnesota United Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Bryant Pfeiffer. “Their cutting-edge technology and fan-first approach have been game changers, enhancing every aspect of the game day experience. We’re excited to continue this journey together, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sports entertainment.”
Minnesota United FC were one of the first clubs in MLS to partner with SeatGeek back in 2017. Over the ensuing years, SeatGeek has significantly expanded its footprint in the league, growing its primary ticketing partnerships to encompass eight MLS teams. This sustained expansion and the recent extension stand as a testament to the effectiveness and appeal of SeatGeek’s technology.
“Our journey in MLS has been a story of innovation and success, constantly pushing the boundaries to provide an improved fan experience,” said Russ D’Souza, co-founder of SeatGeek. “We’re proud to see our technology not just meeting, but exceeding expectations, as we continue to redefine what a ticketing platform can do for fans and partners alike.”
SeatGeek’s strategic expansions and partnerships across major sports leagues, music, theater, and beyond—including partnerships across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, and the English Premier League—underscore the flexibility and appeal of SeatGeek’s platform. Just last year, SeatGeek renewed its partnerships with the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans and the NWSL’s Kansas City Current and embarked on its inaugural seasons as the primary ticketing technology provider for the NHL’s Florida Panthers and the NBA’s Utah Jazz.
