With the reveal of the full Superman costume from James Gunn’s new “Superman” film hot off the presses, Alan and Rob give their immediate reaction.

Plus – the lads are joined once again by esteemed Superman podcaster Michael Bailey to examine the seminal Superman animated films produced by Fleischer Studios in the 1940s.

The panel discusses the impact of these stunningly beautiful animated shorts and how the work of Max and Dave Fleischer would go on to have an enduring influence on the Superman mythology forevermore.

They also examine how the production and popularity of the shorts would change animation forever and go on to inspire creators for decades to come.
