Vikings terminate contract of Myles Gaskin

1 min read

The Vikings on Tuesday announced they have terminated the contract of running back Myles Gaskin.

Gaskin played two snaps on special teams for the Vikings at Philadelphia. He was active against the Los Angeles Chargers but did not play in Week 3.

Gaskin first signed with Minnesota at the end of August after roster reductions by all teams. His contract was then terminated in September ahead of Week 1, and he was signed to the practice squad.

The move comes a week after Minnesota traded a conditional pick to the Los Angeles Rams to acquire Cam Akers.

Minnesota has Alexander Mattison, Ty Chandler and Akers at running back on its 53-player roster.
