Eden Prairie— Prescribed burns are planned for parts of the city this Spring. Each prescribed burn is expected to last one to three hours, dependent upon weather conditions.

According to city officials, prescribed burns help to rejuvenate growth and ensure long-term survival of the native prairie by controlling invasive plants. After burning, the ground will appear charred, but plant regrowth will occur in the spring and produce a variety of new species.

  • Cedar Hills Park
  • Cummins-Phipps-Grill House
  • Edenvale Park
  • Hidden Ponds Park
  • Miller Park
  • Nesbitt Preserve Park
