Canadian television director, cinematographer and producer Glenn Winter known for his work on “Smallville” and the Arrowverse guests on the latest episode of the “Smallville” rewatch podcast to discuss the 19th season one episode, “Crush.”

Co-hosts and former “Smallville” co-stars Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum discuss Winter’s impact on superhero television and share behind the scenes stories from their time working together on set.

They also discuss how the funeral scene featured in this episode was filmed and how Rosenbaum got Lex out of the funeral scene. Adam Brody’s grounded performance is also praised.

In “Smallville’s” “Crush,” after Justin Gaines (Adam Brody) romances Chloe (Allison Mack), she learns that he has telekinesis ability. Clark (Welling) angers Chloe by speculating that Justin is responsible for some mysterious accidents, to get revenge for his own hit-and-run injuries.
