Marvel Studios releases new trailer for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2021, and Marvel fans have been eagerly waiting for any presence of marketing. And it seems their prayers have finally been answered with a new trailer.

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have finally released the new “Spider-Man: No Way Home” trailer and the focus is put squarely on the threequel’s sinister group of villains! 

In the lead-up to the film, Marvel Studios and Sony released a small teaser yesterday featuring Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon watching the trailer to build anticipation towards what many are coining as the “biggest Spider-Man film ever.” Sony has also released official stills from the film along with multiple posters and are currently hosting a live fan event in Los Angeles.

The exclusive footage from the Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures movie is all multiverse exposure with Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and The Lizard all taking center stage in a jaw-dropping battle with Spider-Man. 

A synopsis for the film reads, “For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

Among the film’s confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” arrives in the U.S. on Dec. 17 and in the UK on Dec. 15. Tickets for the film will officially go on sale on Nov. 29, 2021.
