‘She-Hulk’ casts ‘Arrow’ veteran Josh Segarra in mystery role

Deadline and other trades took to social media to break the news that “Arrow” alum Josh Segarra was the latest addition to the cast of Marvel Studios “She-Hulk”. The trades revealed they have no intel on who he will be playing as well.  

Marvel Studios has not commented on the casting.

Segarra was best known for his tenure and role as Adrian Chase/Prometheus during season 5 of “Arrow” the crime-thriller superhero series on The CW. Segarra does have plenty of acting credits to his name as well, including the upcoming second season of the HBO Max series “The Other Two”. He has also previously appeared in “Orange Is the New Black,” “Katy Keene” and “Trainwreck.” 

Segarra has officially joined a cast that includes Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Renée Elise Goldsberry (“Hamilton”), Ginger Gonzaga (“Mixology,” “I’m Dying Up Here”), Jameela Jamil (“The Good Place”), Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / Abomination and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

As of now, no plot details have been revealed except the synopsis. She-Hulk is a legal comedy that centers on the eponymous heroine (Maslany), Jennifer Walters, an attorney who has similar powers to her cousin, Banner/The Hulk. The She-Hulk series is directed by Kat Coiro (“Girls5eva” and “Dead to Me”) and Anu Valia (“CollegeHumor”), with Jessica Gao (“Rick and Morty”) serving as head writer.

She-Hulk is currently filming in Atlanta and is slated for release in 2022 and will premiere on Disney+
