Charlie Daniels, legendary “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” singer, dead at 83

Charlie Daniels, the singer and songwriter known for his unique style of country music, died on Monday in Hermitage, Tennessee. He was 83 years old. Daniels, a North Carolina native, rose to fame when his tune “Uneasy Rider” hit the number nine spot of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. Grace Amelia Benz, 78, of Hibbing, died Sunday June 21, 2020.  She was born in Mora, MN on April 23, 1942 to Marvin and Helen Grummons.  Grace married Gerald Walter Benz on Nov. 28, 1959.
