Vikings fall to Eagles 28–22 in week 7 clash

1 min read

The Minnesota Vikings lost 28–22 to the Philadelphia Eagles at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, making their record 3–3.

Despite quarterback Carson Wentz’s strong performance with 313 yards passing, the Vikings faced issues in the red zone, converting only five field goals by Will Reichard.

A disputed touchdown reversal involving T.J. Hockenson late in the game hurt their comeback chances. The Vikings had key injuries, with linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel out and Blake Cashman and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins questionable; J.J. McCarthy, Brian O’Neill, and Michael Jurgens were also questionable but still played.

They aim to bounce back against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, October 23, at 8:15 PM CT at SoFi Stadium, following the Chargers’ 38–24 loss to the Colts.
