1 min read

On August 20, Prime Video officially unveiled a teaser trailer, poster, and official screenshots from the hit Amazon Prime series “Fallout.” These offer audiences a way back into the wasteland before the sophomore season drops later this December 17, with a confirmed release date.

Returning to the wasteland are Walton Goggins as The Ghoul/Cooper Howard, Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Kyle MacLachlan as Hank, Michael Emerson as Wilzig, and Johnny Pemberton as Thaddeus.

Behind the camera, executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy continue to guide the series, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serving as co-showrunners. Nolan directed the first three episodes, setting the tone for the show’s cinematic style.

A synopsis for the series reads: Based on one of the most fantastic video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have.

Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
