EP 62 | Luke Up with artist Howie Noel

1 min read

In this very special episode, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the incredibly talented artist Howie Noel—someone whose love for Superman shines through in every piece of art he creates.

We talked about his creative journey, the deeply personal experiences that fuel his work, and how a childhood love of Superman turned into something truly magical. One of my favorite moments was hearing how James Gunn himself saw Howie’s Superman artwork and shared it.

As fans, we dream of moments like that—and for Howie, it was a beautiful reminder that our passions can reach people in ways we never expect.

We also spoke about what Superman means to us, why fan art matters, and how storytelling shapes the legacy of our heroes.

It’s an honest, emotional, and uplifting conversation about art, fandom, and finding your place in a world full of capes, hope, and heart. This one meant a lot to me—and I think it will to you, too.
