One of the best things about the 21st century is how easy it is to find new and amazing things online. While researching for my editorial on why the Daily Planet needs a rooftop globe, I found design art for the popular series “My Adventures with Superman.”

The images popped up on a simple Google search and referenced the portfolio website of Carson Brown, a designer at Warner Bros.

“I’m a self driven designer working in film, advertisement, toys, spatial design, and visual development with an interest in building environments,” Brown’s website reads. “Currently, I am a Background Designer on My Adventures with Superman at Warner Brothers Animation.”

The images are reference points, backgrounds, and settings for “My Adventures with Superman,” an American animated superhero anime-influenced series that airs on Adult Swim and streams on MAX.

I was excited to stumble across the images and wanted to share what I found. You can visit Carson Brown’s website here.

Season one

In the premiere season, Clark Kent, a secret alien, and his best friend Jimmy Olsen embark on their internship at the Daily Planet. They meet Lois Lane, another intern, who enlists their help in investigating stolen military robots that pose a threat to Metropolis. Meanwhile, Clark returns to the Kent farm, grappling with questions about his origins and his true identity.
