DC unveils logo for Superman Day 2025, scheduled for April

1 min read

Every year, fans of the iconic superhero Superman gather to celebrate his enduring legacy, and 2025 is no exception.

Superman Day, observed on April 18, marks the anniversary of the Man of Steel’s first appearance in “Action Comics” no.1, which debuted in 1938.

Superman Day has previously been celebrated in June due to the cover date on the aforementioned historical publication, but it seems Warner Bros. is shaking things up this year. We’re still likely to get another Superman Day this summer, though.

This year’s celebrations are larger and more exciting than ever, featuring a variety of events and activities designed to honor the hero who has inspired generations, all leading up to the summer blockbuster starring this icon.

A day of super activities

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is hosting a special Superman-themed event that promises to delight fans of all ages. Visitors will enjoy a guided tour of the studio’s DC Universe sets, explore rare props and costumes, and even participate in trivia focused on DC comics. The highlight of the day will be a screening of the classic 1978 film “Superman,” starring Christopher Reeve, introduced by TCM host Ben Mankiewicz.

Comic book enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to as well. DC Comics is releasing a facsimile edition of “Action Comics” no.1, complete with a new cover by artist Dan Mora. Additionally, a “Summer of Superman Special” comic will feature new stories and set the stage for the next chapter in Superman’s adventures.

The day promises to be a great one for our favorite hero, but make sure to celebrate like the Man of Steel himself and use your gifts and kindness to make the world a better place.

Besides all that, what will you be doing on Superman Day? I hope you’ll be watching a full trailer for the new movie because this date is likely when we’ll get it.
