Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor on “Smallville,” announced on social media that he has been told to evacuate his home due to wildfires in Los Angeles.

“I just got evacuated. I’m with my dogs and everything is okay,” Rosenbaum said. “I packed up some personal stuff. I wanted everyone to know that I’m safe. This is crazy, this is the craziest thing. I know a lot of other people are less fortunate than I am, I’m thinking about them. This is insanity. All your thoughts would help for everyone out there.”

Five fires in the Los Angeles metro have prompted thousands of residents, including Rosenbaum and other celebrities, to evacuate, destroying many structures, displacing residents, burning over 27,000 acres, and resulting in at least five fatalities.
